    I remember the call like it was yesterday. It was just after dinner one night when my mate called to ask me how I was going. But not the usual 'how are you going?' He asked me how I was really going, he digged a little deeper to really get it out of me. From a distance I probably come across as a pretty ordinary Australian bloke who's had it pretty good. Finished uni, has a good job, a good set of mates, plays sport, I think you get my point. But the one thing that I have in common with every other Australian male out there is that at some stage in our lives we will all go through a tough time.     Here is the way it’s supposed to work. You see things, hear things, taste things, touch things and smell things. These sensations go to your brain, and your brain makes you have thoughts, and feelings, about them. And so when somebody asks you, “What do you think?” or “How do you feel?” you can answer them, because you know the answer. Obvious, right? What I’m getting at is that the way your mind is supposed to work is that your mind is, essentially, you. Your mind doesn’t tell you what to think or feel, it just does it, and that’s what you think or feel. You don’t say “My mind thinks this” or “my mind’s telling me that”. Do you?
