Having said that, we’re not professionals, so take this advice with a pinch of salt and make sure you find out more info about the issue. This is just the beginning of your discovery.

ANXIETY

We all need to feel anxious sometimes. Anxiety is our body’s way of telling us we need to be on the alert. That’s why the heart starts pumping faster, the adrenaline starts flowing and we start breathing a bit more quickly.

ANGER

Everyone gets angry. So if you do as well, that’s good news - you’re human. But if your anger just makes you want to punch the crap out of someone or if you feel angry all the time and you don’t know how to react to that, you can probably do something to take some of that stress out of your life.

LOSS & GRIEF

When you are going through grief it can feel like you’re powerless. And there’s nothing more frustrating than having a problem you can’t work at and fix. Like when you didn’t get to say goodbye. When you didn’t get to tell someone what you really thought of them, or sort out that stupid issue you’d been at heads over for ages.

BREAK UP

Firstly, let’s get this straight. Breaking up may be nobody's fault. It may just happen. And yes, it can be a pretty fcked up time. It’s hard, but sometimes people just need to move apart and go on with life.

BODY IMAGE

"Binge Drinking" is nothing new. People have been getting wasted since humanity discovered alcohol can serve that purpose. So what is and isn't 'binge drinking' doesn't really matter - what matters is what YOU think.

CAREER PRESSURE

So, you’re about to finish school or uni and everyone’s asking you what’s next? Or, you’re already stretched to the limits at work and you receive another bloody email from your supervisor with more things to do. As if we don’t already have enough pressures in our lives these days, we also have to deal with the pressure to get on some kind of career path.

Stress

Stress can be a real son-of-a-b*tch and a real sneaky little bugger although its much needed to keep us motivated. It’s a part of everyday life. Stress becomes a problem when it starts affecting your social and personal life.

Sexuality

Sexuality is by no means limited to being straight, or even being same-sex attracted. There are a whole range of different sexual identities people can have - whoever they may be attracted to and whether or not they want to do anything about that attraction.

Peer pressure

Peer pressure is a real son-of-a-b*tch responsible for a collection of intolerable evils. Having said that, it can also be a positive influence: like if your mates peer-pressure you to finish that assignment you’ve been putting off.
